1. Assumption of Responsibility:
By enrolling in training with Sovereign Self Defense, you assume full responsibility for all your actions and their consequences. You acknowledge that participation in firearms and self-defense training carries inherent risks, and you agree to abide by all safety guidelines, protocols, and instructions provided by our instructors and staff.
Furthermore, you acknowledge that Sovereign Self Defense reserves the right to refuse training or cancel participation as stated in this policy. In the event that we exercise this right, you understand and agree that no refund will be provided for the training fees paid.
You also agree to release Sovereign Self Defense, its instructors, employees, and affiliated entities from any liability for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during or as a result of your participation in our training programs.
It is your responsibility to disclose any medical conditions, drug use, or other factors that may affect your ability to participate safely in the training. By entering our training programs, you confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to participate and that you will inform instructors immediately of any condition that may compromise your safety or the safety of others.
2. No Refund Policy
All Warrior Workshops are non-refundable. Our workshops are in high demand, and by committing to a workshop, you acknowledge and agree to this no-refund policy. This ensures your spot is reserved and allows us to provide the best training experience for all participants. Rescheduling Policy for Level 1 Workshops:
- 14+ Days' Notice: Participants may reschedule at no cost if notified more than 14 days prior to the event start.
- Less Than 14 Days' Notice: A $95 rescheduling fee will be applied.
- One-Time Reschedule Limit: Each participant is allowed one complimentary rescheduling opportunity. Any additional reschedules will require payment in full for future events.
Rescheduling Policy for Level 2 Workshops:
- Same policy as Level 1 applies.
Rescheduling Policy for Levels 3, 4, & 5 Workshops:
- 60+ Days' Notice: Participants may reschedule at no cost if notified more than 60 days prior to the event start.
- Less Than 60 Days' Notice: A $195 rescheduling fee will be applied.

3. RIGHT TO REFUSE TRAINING POLICY
At Sovereign Self Defense, safety is our paramount concern. We are committed to providing high-quality firearms and self-defense training while ensuring the well-being of all participants and instructors. To maintain a safe environment and uphold our standards, we reserve the right to refuse training or cancel training at any point for the following reasons:
- Safety Concerns: The safety of our participants, instructors, and staff is of utmost importance. If any individual displays behavior that poses a significant risk to themselves or others during the training sessions, we may refuse further participation or cancel the training to prevent potential harm.
- Suspected Use of Illegal Substances: Any participant found to be using illegal substances during training will be asked to leave the premises immediately. We strictly prohibit the presence of illegal drugs on our premises and will not tolerate any impairment caused by substance abuse.
- Suspected Use of Prescription Drugs that Impair Senses or Psychological Processes: While recognizing the importance of medical treatment, participants who are under the influence of prescription drugs that may impair their senses or psychological processes will not be allowed to participate in training. It is the responsibility of participants to inform instructors of any medication that may affect their abilities to ensure safe training.
- Disruptive Behavior: Disruptive behavior that interferes with the learning environment, compromises safety, or hampers the training experience for others may lead to the refusal of further participation or cancellation of the training.
Process for Refusal of Training:
If Sovereign Self-Defense deems it necessary to refuse training or cancel participation for any of the aforementioned reasons, the following process will be followed:
- Observation and Assessment: Our instructors and staff will observe and assess the situation thoroughly to ensure accurate judgment and the application of this policy only when justified.
- Discussion and Notification: If safety concerns or suspected substance impairment arise, our staff will have a private discussion with the individual involved. They will be informed of the reasons for the refusal of training and provided an opportunity to address the situation.
- Immediate Removal (if necessary): In case of severe safety concerns or blatant disregard for our policies, the individual may be asked to leave the training premises immediately.
- No Refund: In the event that Sovereign Self-Defense must enact this clause and refuse training or cancel participation, no refund will be provided to the participant. It is the participant's responsibility to adhere to our policies and guidelines to ensure a safe and successful training experience.
- Review and Appeal: Participants who have been refused training have the right to request a review of the decision. Sovereign Self Defense will evaluate the circumstances and reconsider the decision fairly and impartially.
