Assumption of Responsibility:

By enrolling in training with Sovereign Self Defense, you assume full responsibility for all your actions and their consequences. You acknowledge that participation in firearms and self-defense training carries inherent risks, and you agree to abide by all safety guidelines, protocols, and instructions provided by our instructors and staff.

Furthermore, you acknowledge that Sovereign Self Defense reserves the right to refuse training or cancel participation as stated in this policy. In the event that we exercise this right, you understand and agree that no refund will be provided for the training fees paid.

You also agree to release Sovereign Self Defense, its instructors, employees, and affiliated entities from any liability for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during or as a result of your participation in our training programs.

It is your responsibility to disclose any medical conditions, drug use, or other factors that may affect your ability to participate safely in the training. By entering our training programs, you confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to participate and that you will inform instructors immediately of any condition that may compromise your safety or the safety of others.

 

No Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing Sovereign Self Defense (“Company”) for your firearms and self-defense training needs. We are dedicated to providing top-notch training experiences to our clients. As part of our commitment to transparency and clear communication, we have established the following “No Refund Policy” to outline the terms and conditions related to refunds for our services.

  1. Refund Policy Overview: Sovereign Self Defense does not offer refunds for any services provided, including but not limited to firearms training courses, self-defense classes, workshops, online programs, private lessons, or any other training sessions offered by the Company.

  2. No Refunds within 90 Days of Event: Please note that no refunds will be available for cancellations made within 90 days of the scheduled training event.

  3. Payment Application to Future Classes: If you are unable to attend a training session or course within 90 days of the event, you have the option to apply your payment to a future class offered by Sovereign Self Defense. This option is available until the end of the 90 days from the original event date.

  4. Act of God Cancellation and Rescheduling: In the event of unforeseen circumstances classified as “Acts of God” that cause the cancellation and rescheduling of an event, such as an earthquake, flood, lightning storm, hurricane, tornado, mudslide, meteor shower, or other natural disasters, the following policies will apply:

    • The course will be rescheduled within 60-90 days of the original course date, provided it is feasible and safe to do so.

    • If Sovereign Self Defense cannot reschedule the event within the specified time frame, all attendees will be issued a voucher to attend any future course of their choosing within the next 12 months.

    • If an attendee is unable to travel from their location due to an act of God, resulting in their inability to attend the course, they will be issued a voucher for a future course.

  5. Voucher Validity Period: Any vouchers issued as part of the Act of God policy will be valid for redemption within the next 12 months from the date of issuance.

  6. No Course Scheduled within 12 Months: If Sovereign Self Defense does not schedule any future course within 12 months, the attendee’s voucher will remain valid until such time that a similar event is held.

  7. Rescheduling Policy for Level 1 Workshops:

    • Participants may reschedule their Level 1 workshop at no cost if notified more than 14 days from the event start.

    • If rescheduling occurs less than 14 days from the event start, a rescheduling fee of $95 will be applied.

    • Each participant is allowed one rescheduling opportunity. After utilizing this option, participants must pay in full for future events.

  8. Assumption of Responsibility: By enrolling in any training program or service offered by Sovereign Self Defense, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this “No Refund Policy.” You assume full responsibility for your decision to participate in our training courses and understand that no refunds will be provided under any circumstances, except as outlined in the Act of God policy.

  9. Modifications to the Policy: Sovereign Self Defense reserves the right to modify or amend this “No Refund Policy” at any time without prior notice. Any changes to the policy will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. It is your responsibility to review the policy periodically to stay informed about its current terms and conditions.

RIGHT TO REFUSE TRAINING POLICY

At Sovereign Self Defense, safety is our paramount concern. We are committed to providing high-quality firearms and self-defense training while ensuring the well-being of all participants and instructors. To maintain a safe environment and uphold our standards, we reserve the right to refuse training or cancel training at any point for the following reasons:

1. Safety Concerns: The safety of our participants, instructors, and staff is of utmost importance. If any individual displays behavior that poses a significant risk to themselves or others during the training sessions, we may refuse further participation or cancel the training to prevent potential harm.

2. Suspected Use of Illegal Substances: Any participant found to be using illegal substances during training will be asked to leave the premises immediately. We strictly prohibit the presence of illegal drugs on our premises and will not tolerate any impairment caused by substance abuse.

3. Suspected Use of Prescription Drugs that Impair Senses or Psychological Processes: While recognizing the importance of medical treatment, participants who are under the influence of prescription drugs that may impair their senses or psychological processes will not be allowed to participate in training. It is the responsibility of participants to inform instructors of any medication that may affect their abilities to ensure safe training.

4. Disruptive Behavior: Disruptive behavior that interferes with the learning environment, compromises safety, or hampers the training experience for others may lead to the refusal of further participation or cancellation of the training.

Process for Refusal of Training:

If Sovereign Self-Defense deems it necessary to refuse training or cancel participation for any of the aforementioned reasons, the following process will be followed:

1.Observation and Assessment: Our instructors and staff will observe and assess the situation thoroughly to ensure accurate judgment and the application of this policy only when justified.

2. Discussion and Notification: If safety concerns or suspected substance impairment arise, our staff will have a private discussion with the individual involved. They will be informed of the reasons for the refusal of training and provided an opportunity to address the situation.

3. Immediate Removal (if necessary): In case of severe safety concerns or blatant disregard for our policies, the individual may be asked to leave the training premises immediately.

4. No Refund: In the event that Sovereign Self-Defense must enact this clause and refuse training or cancel participation, no refund will be provided to the participant. It is the participant’s responsibility to adhere to our policies and guidelines to ensure a safe and successful training experience.

5. Review and Appeal: Participants who have been refused training have the right to request a review of the decision. Sovereign Self Defense will evaluate the circumstances and reconsider the decision fairly and impartially.
